Most of us have known someone in our lifetime that has committed suicide. Someone in the world dies from suicide every 13 minutes. That is a staggering statistic. Not that many people know, but yours truly has attempted before. This is a cause that is near and dear to the heart.
A good friend of mine, Risa Buglio, for the second consecutive year, will be attending and participating in the Out of the Darkness Overnight Walk in Washington, DC. Part of the walk is raising money to go towards suicide prevention. Risa’s goal is to collect $2000 to donate to research. Currently, she is less that halfway to that mark. Every little bit helps.
Please head on over to Risa’s donation page, and help in the research into how to prevent future suicides from happening. Help save a friend, family member, or even yourself from ending a great life.
